So two weeks ago I was called within 24hrs of this posting and i was helped efficiently. My mortgage problem was cleared up and I was told my forebearance was approved and instead of 4 month lump sum due, i would have a single payment due .
7 days later I received a letter from PHH for the updated info. NOW not only did I get a 4 month default notice which is illegal (i had a bankruptcy on this mortgage back in 2018 and restructuring since then) but NEWREZ which owns PHH has no information on me when I call and the two people cannot retrieve my account with email or ss#: They say the SS# does not match. THEN I called PHH and finally escalated to managers of ERM dept. They had difficult time with the ss#s for some reason although they did match with PHH department, but then worse, after all the 6 months of conversations, I now have to pay for my Bankruptcy attorney to file a notice with PHH to allow them to converse with me.
What a WTF moment. So theoretically the last 2 years I have paid on-time and consistently even after the discharge, I now am contemplating legal action against them for the disgusting fiscal mismanagement of my account, improper procedures and violation of data privacy (i dont know what ss# is on my NEWREZ acct., poor customer service and improper services that may be damaging my credit report that has been brought up to 700.

Lost payment
I am a recent transfer in servicer from Ocwen to PHH (clearly Ocwen is merging in to the name of PHH. I transferred in 4/19.
As a follow up from some issue with my mortgage I have called PHH about 25 times, wrote 10 times, emailed about 30 times. These excessive contacts come from conflicting answers and wrong answers. The research and attempt to resolve these issue have resulted in continued confusion. My first payment after the transfer to PHH was due 6/1/19 .
I attempted to make an online payment unsuccessfully. I called customer service to make a payment I was informed I would need to mail my payment in there was a hold on my account. I agreed to send my payment that day. I stated some concerns that I was already having issues with payments on the very first payment from transfer.
I was assured that a mailed payment would be processed and there would be no issue. Here we are 17 days later and PHH claims the payment has not been received, I used a US postal money order. This requires waiting 30 days before you can track and a couple weeks to verify. I have sent proof of the money order receipt to PHH.
This is an Ocwen co. This company has had statement platform issues, recording and reporting issues. This servicer can not resolve issues make corrections and it takes at least 30 days time for a response for each question, assertion of problems or a need for an answer. This servicer intentionally keeps their employees in the dark.
This tactic is used to appease, delay, ensure no material change and is used as a tool to ensure issues are kicked down the road to run out the clock or to ensure there is never a correction that effects profit. This servicer gives the illusion of an assign case manager and a sense your account has a point of contact. This is not the case. This intentional projection of caring, having a desire to answer, correct and have a level of customer care is all a marketing gimmick.
it does not exist and is not really applied. This servicer is a debt collector, a data keeper with a mission to collect money. There is no desire to respond based on information, fact and or occurrence. They are one sided.
This is supported by the reality of class action suites, suites by all states and individual suites to make anything happen. This company needs to be held accountable.

I was told to pay my reinstatement by December 2,2019 and I paid it on November 27,2019 . I was told that phh never received the payment and I have all receipt and proof of payment , I called and called and always get someone different and always a different response, they forclosed my home on December 3,2019 because of this ..
I been calling for over a month and sending copies of everything to the lawyers Did exactly what was written in the reinstatement letter to phh and still as of today December 30,2019 , nothing has been resolved.. Im so hurt and upset cause I dont want to lose my home , because of someone else mistake ..
