I have a problem with a check that I send by mail , They cash the check and I resive a letter that I need to pay my mortgage,I call and they said we going to investigate, I paid twice on month

I send my payment by mail, I know you received the payment and cash the check and they said that they dont receive the payment, I call and toll me if you dont pay I will send you to collection I said why I pay my loan, this PHH is fraud If you dont fix this problem we going to legal there a lot complaint to this mortgage company I going call to news on television

Very poor web site to make a payment

I was on the phone for an hour and a half with no results with helping make a payment online I went through 3 different people. The last one said she would put IT requests. I have had to call them every month for this issue. I think there is something fishy to And will notifying my attorney General to look into this so PHH you better you act together.

Horrible Customer Service

I have received the bill from my town for property tax. I called Customer Service and was transferred 3 times and all of reps have strong accent and i hear lots of noises in the background to make it very hard to understand . Addition to that, they don't listen to my reason for calling and kept asking me whether i was calling to make a payment for this month. Finally i got an information where to email the copy of my tax bill. I called a week later to confirm whether it is being processed. Same experience and was on hold for 30 min while one rep is trying to transfer me to customer service . They don't listen and they kept talking like they seemed to be reading some sort of script. I had never this type of experience before. Very bad experience.

I was charged two month mortgage payment when I only submitted one. I also got 2 $34 overdraft fee at my bank. Even tho I deposited a check im upside down. We are limited with funds and I cant even use my bank account. Im very upset I have not received my additional month refund yet. I need this money back that is owed to the bank to avoid additional overdraft fee. Please help!!!

Their online website and payments are an absolute joke. I paid my payment on the second and it said it was confirmed. Then I got a notice saying I hadnt made my payment and now its late. Even though I have the confirmation that it went through.

So two weeks ago I was called within 24hrs of this posting and i was helped efficiently. My mortgage problem was cleared up and I was told my forebearance was approved and instead of 4 month lump sum due, i would have a single payment due .

7 days later I received a letter from PHH for the updated info. NOW not only did I get a 4 month default notice which is illegal (i had a bankruptcy on this mortgage back in 2018 and restructuring since then) but NEWREZ which owns PHH has no information on me when I call and the two people cannot retrieve my account with email or ss#: They say the SS# does not match. THEN I called PHH and finally escalated to managers of ERM dept. They had difficult time with the ss#s for some reason although they did match with PHH department, but then worse, after all the 6 months of conversations, I now have to pay for my Bankruptcy attorney to file a notice with PHH to allow them to converse with me.

What a WTF moment. So theoretically the last 2 years I have paid on-time and consistently even after the discharge, I now am contemplating legal action against them for the disgusting fiscal mismanagement of my account, improper procedures and violation of data privacy (i dont know what ss# is on my NEWREZ acct., poor customer service and improper services that may be damaging my credit report that has been brought up to 700.

I think some people are actually paid by PHH to write good reviews. I have not been able to get through to english speaking reps since February when they put me on Coronavirus forebearance. I have tried making mortgage payments on the website. Website is down. I asked NewRez but they transfered my loan to PHH. Ever since they bought these from OCWEN, service hasnt been good. I want to log in and see my documents at PHH. No help, phone numbers i call say no live help available. New Rez wont help. I REFUSE TO PAY 12 to pay my mortgae on phone when I should be allowed to pay on their website, which I did for months after they took over for OCWEN. No help from NJ in Trenton, so until they respond to my 8 emails since March, I will not pay. Hiring a lawyer to sue for fiscal negligence.find another company to service the loan or find a way to get good credit.

Lost payment

I am a recent transfer in servicer from Ocwen to PHH (clearly Ocwen is merging in to the name of PHH. I transferred in 4/19.

As a follow up from some issue with my mortgage I have called PHH about 25 times, wrote 10 times, emailed about 30 times. These excessive contacts come from conflicting answers and wrong answers. The research and attempt to resolve these issue have resulted in continued confusion. My first payment after the transfer to PHH was due 6/1/19 .

I attempted to make an online payment unsuccessfully. I called customer service to make a payment I was informed I would need to mail my payment in there was a hold on my account. I agreed to send my payment that day. I stated some concerns that I was already having issues with payments on the very first payment from transfer.

I was assured that a mailed payment would be processed and there would be no issue. Here we are 17 days later and PHH claims the payment has not been received, I used a US postal money order. This requires waiting 30 days before you can track and a couple weeks to verify. I have sent proof of the money order receipt to PHH.

This is an Ocwen co. This company has had statement platform issues, recording and reporting issues. This servicer can not resolve issues make corrections and it takes at least 30 days time for a response for each question, assertion of problems or a need for an answer. This servicer intentionally keeps their employees in the dark.

This tactic is used to appease, delay, ensure no material change and is used as a tool to ensure issues are kicked down the road to run out the clock or to ensure there is never a correction that effects profit. This servicer gives the illusion of an assign case manager and a sense your account has a point of contact. This is not the case. This intentional projection of caring, having a desire to answer, correct and have a level of customer care is all a marketing gimmick.

it does not exist and is not really applied. This servicer is a debt collector, a data keeper with a mission to collect money. There is no desire to respond based on information, fact and or occurrence. They are one sided.

This is supported by the reality of class action suites, suites by all states and individual suites to make anything happen. This company needs to be held accountable.

Hello Fellow customer of PHH Mortgage, I had so much problems with them that I want to tell you what I did. I went to the Department of oversight, they are over lenders.

The mortgage company has to do an internal investigation and of course it comes out different than what we are experiencing but it may help. The more complaints we give the more they will listen. This is so stressful and when you call the company ask for an on shore person because the number on our monthly statement will start with a person in India or other off shore person. You just ask to speak to a person on shore.

I had way better results and you can do a speed pay which is free and they give you a confirmation number and email with this number. It helps. I am sorry that you have been going through this because it is stressful to say the least. I totally know what blood sweat and tears means.

This company is horrible and we can try to stick together because they are ruthless too. Thanks for listening my name is Terri

I am having the same type of issues. The Government needs to take a look at PHH, who by the way Ocwen just acquired; PHH is just as corrupt. Homeowners should not be treated this way.

I am experiencing the same problem. They lost a cashiers check that I even sent via the UPS and had an employee sign for the package and a tracking number to prove that it arrived but they still can't find it and claim they have to do "research". Meanwhile, my home is in foreclosure due to their mistake and poor customer service.

I have EXACTLY the same situation going on with PHH. I sent four checks by registered mail between May 2019 and August 2019.

They have managed to find two of them. They sent them back though because they denied by modification plan because all funds were not located in time.

They are now filing foreclosure documents. The checks were all signed for by a courier named TZ.

Refinanced with my credit union after 5 hellish months with PHH. Incompetence is just a mask for its predatory business practices which include intentionally misapplied payments and double billing. This outfit should be shuttered by the government as a criminal enterprise.

I Was switch over form Owen This company is so horrible. They are not trying to help you I Was Talking to Someone when he got tired of answering my questions he act like he couldnt hear me and hung up the phone in my face I don't know what Else try to get a lawyer or refinance the house

I was told to pay my reinstatement by December 2,2019 and I paid it on November 27,2019 . I was told that phh never received the payment and I have all receipt and proof of payment , I called and called and always get someone different and always a different response, they forclosed my home on December 3,2019 because of this ..

I been calling for over a month and sending copies of everything to the lawyers Did exactly what was written in the reinstatement letter to phh and still as of today December 30,2019 , nothing has been resolved.. Im so hurt and upset cause I dont want to lose my home , because of someone else mistake ..

I am going through the same thing. They all the sudden told me to start sending payments through western union.

turns out we are being scammed. I have voice recordings ive turned over to my lawyer, PHH denies that he is an employee, and the guy clearly had my personal loan information. these people are scammers. they only do fax communication, claim they never recvd paperwork.

you need a lawyer, we need to have a bunch of us get together and make them be held accountable. its like they want you to be late on payments, charge you extra fees, lie, and I refuse to let them take my home.

We had to file bankruptcy to save my home, and we once paid 800, went to 1,200.00, now through bankruptcy our house payment is 2,200.00 a month. all because our loan was sold to these crooks, and they dont care about us, they just want our property.

We have copies of the money orders they cashed!!!

PHH is the absolute worst. Due to Covid19 i got behind in payments and when I wanted to make a payment they said all or nothing as i was 3 months behind. I explained i would be able to get current within 60 days and they still said no and advised all credit agencies I was delinquent and even started the foreclosure process which is illegal under the CARES act. PHH is flat out unethical and insensitive. Can you imagine you wanted to make payments and they would not accept it !!
